Balboa Park has 2 sides and 2 histories. The west was planted in 1892 by Kate Sessions,
while the east side came about as the result of the opening of the Panama Canal Expo in 1914,
and The 1935-36 California Pacific International Exposition. From gardens to museums, art & culture,
it has many uses for San Diegan's as well as visitors from around the world!
